The Pretender: Property

It would be easy to fuck him, Miss Parker thinks as she stands in the door of the minimalist apartment/cell that, thanks to her, Jarod once again calls home. She pressured Broots into diverting surveillance; no one else can see Jarod's face as he turns, the way his eyes darken when he sees her, the hungry set of his body before the shackles on his wrists and ankles pull his sinewy movements up short. He's Centre property--hers, to do with as she pleases.

It would be so easy to fuck him, she thinks. If only she hadn't done so already.

Alias: The Spy Game

None of the available scenarios seemed promising. Vaughn looked up, unsure. "Irkutsk to Kamchatka?"

He started at Marshall's laughter. "Kamchat--are you kidding? The map, have you *looked*--you do see--" He jabbed a finger at the layout before them, pointing at different targets almost too quickly to be followed. "Besides the Kluchevskoy Volcano--most active volcano on the continent, which, no, too much trouble--you've got the Avacha Bay submarine base, right, and seven air force bases, early-warning radars and--you know, if you were Vitus Bering, maybe, but. No."

Vaughn shook his head despondently. "I'm never playing Risk with you again," he said.

Invisible Man: 'Squeeck'

Chained up, stripped to his shorts, quicksilver madness imminent, judging by the icepick sensation in his skull--Darien thinks he's been in worse spots than this.

It's the sight of Hobbes giving Arneau a massage that assures him he hasn't. Horrified yet unable to look away, Darien pleads, "Hobbes, please...Hobbes..." Roundly ignored, he toughens his voice. "So, what, does this mean he's Calvin?"

Hobbes snorts, lovingly working Arneau's shoulderblades. Arneau murmurs, "Actually, I'm Catholic," and Darien--

--awakes with a jolt, hyperventilating and covered in cold sweat. "Okay," he tells Franklin, his teddybear, after regaining his breath. "No more counteragent before bed."

End.
