Nickname: Celli

Meaning: Short for "Celimene," who is a character in Moliere's play "The Misanthrope."

Origin: The first time I ever needed an online "handle" (for the ISCA BBS), I was performing a monologue from this play and liked the character of Celimene. It was quickly shortened to Celli, and it's been that way for...has it been almost eight years already? Wow.

Horsechick moniker: Doom (aka >*< or the firefly)

Meaning: I think it's obvious.

Origin: When Lizbet (Plague) and I decided to move in together, I asked Dianne (Death), "If I'm Plague's roommate, what does that make me?" Her response? "Doomed." And it just sort of happened from there...
